forest-art-scandinavian-trees-moon-landscape-wall-art-prints-set-of-3
Forest Art Scandinavian Trees & Moon Landscape Wall Art Prints | Set of 3

Bring a real sense of calm into your home with this set of three forest art wall art prints — and honestly, they are some of the most quietly beautiful pieces I have come across in a long time. Each print features a bare, ink-black tree set against a soft, textured beige and warm grey background: the left print shows a leaning tree reflected in still water, the centre print places a lone tree in front of a large, pale circular moon with misty mountain shapes behind it, and the right print shows a rounded tree perched on a rolling hillside. The palette is all soft neutrals, warm beige, and deep charcoal black — hushed, cohesive, and endlessly soothing.

This is a classic Scandinavian nature scene done with real restraint. There is a painted, textured quality to the backgrounds — you can almost feel the cool, still air of a Nordic morning. If you have been looking for something above the fireplace that feels grounded and grown-up without being cold or stark, this set is exactly that. It is the kind of art that makes a room feel more considered without trying too hard.

What's Included with Forest Art Scandinavian Trees & Moon Landscape Wall Art Prints | Set of 3

A set of 3 individual art prints, each featuring a distinct tree and landscape scene in a cohesive neutral, beige and black palette

Printed in the UK using fade-resistant pigment inks for long-lasting colour — suitable for indoor display

Framed and canvas-wrapped options arrive ready to hang straight out of the box, saving you the time and hassle of hunting for a frame that fits. The unframed option is the print only.

Choose between unframed and framed options in multiple sizes and in Luster or Museum quality; also available in wrapped canvas size options

How to Style Forest Art Above the Fireplace

I would hang all three prints in a row above the fireplace, evenly spaced, at roughly eye level from where you would stand in the room — not sitting height, which is a common mistake. Because the three prints tell a gentle visual story from left to right (water, moon, hillside), keeping them in their natural order really pays off. An even gap of around 5–8 cm between each one looks clean and intentional. The soft beige and grey tones will sit beautifully against warm white, off-white, or putty-coloured walls, and they work just as well with dark charcoal or slate painted chimney breasts if you want something a little more dramatic.

For the full hygge effect, I love the idea of pairing these prints with natural textures — a chunky knitted throw on the sofa, a wooden mantle, some simple ceramic vessels. Because the colours are so neutral, you have enormous freedom with the rest of the room. Have a look at our full Scandinavian wall art collection if you want to find coordinating pieces for other walls in the same space.

Choosing the Right Size and Finish for This Set

With a set of three, size matters more than people expect. For a standard chimney breast above a fireplace, I would suggest prints that, when hung together, span at least two-thirds of the width of the mantle — that way they look intentional rather than lost. If your fireplace wall is generous, go bigger; these designs have enough quiet confidence to handle a large format beautifully. If you are working with a smaller space, a medium size still looks lovely and avoids overcrowding the wall.

For finish, I personally lean towards Museum quality paper for this particular set — the textured, painterly quality of the backgrounds really comes through on a fine-art surface. That said, Luster paper gives a gorgeous subtle sheen that suits the soft grey tones just as well, so it really comes down to personal preference. The wrapped canvas option is brilliant if you want a more tactile, gallery feel and would rather skip framing altogether. Scroll down to see how each size looks above a fireplace before you decide — there is a size-guide image below showing every option in that exact setting.

About Wall
