pictures-for-above-fireplace-paris-boutique-street-scenes-paris-pour-toujours-set-of-3
Pictures for Above Fireplace Paris Boutique Street Scenes "Paris, pour toujours" | Set of 3

Hang these three charming Paris street scene pictures for above fireplace and you instantly bring a little Parisian magic into your living room. Each print features a hand-illustrated boutique building — a flower shop with the Eiffel Tower peeking behind it, a cosy black-fronted café with deep red awnings and potted plants spilling onto the pavement, and a corner street scene showing the Eiffel Tower rising above a warm beige and red-awninged café and neighbouring shopfronts. The palette is soft beige and warm cream, with bold black detailing, rich red awnings and small gold-toned dot accents scattered across the third print. The middle print carries the handwritten phrase Paris, pour toujours — Paris, forever — in delicate script beneath the café illustration. The whole set feels like a postcard from a favourite trip, illustrated in a loose, painterly style that is contemporary but timeless.

I think what makes this set so special above a fireplace is the way the red accents give it just enough warmth and colour to hold its own above the mantel without overpowering the room. The beige and cream tones work beautifully with natural wood, white plaster, or pale grey surrounds, and the black detailing ties in well with dark or wrought-iron fireplaces too. If you love Paris, travel, or boutique interiors — or you simply want something that feels cheerful and a little romantic — this is a really lovely choice.

What's Included with Pictures for Above Fireplace Paris Boutique Street Scenes "Paris, pour toujours" | Set of 3

A set of 3 individual art prints featuring illustrated Parisian boutique street scenes in beige, black, red and warm gold-toned accents

Printed in the UK using fade-resistant pigment inks, intended for indoor display

The framed and canvas-wrapped options arrive ready to hang — saving you the time and hassle of hunting for a frame that fits. Because the three illustrations share the same cream background and colour palette, they read as a cohesive group even when hung with a little breathing room between them — and that gap actually helps each scene tell its own story. I'd centre them as a unit over the middle of the mantel, with the bottom of the prints sitting roughly 15–20 cm above any objects on the shelf. If your fireplace is wide, consider going up a size so the set fills the wall properly and does not look lost.

For a boutique, travel-inspired feel, lean into the Paris theme elsewhere in the room — a few books with beautiful spines, a small plant in a dark pot, or a ceramic vase in cream or terracotta all complement the palette perfectly. The red in the awnings is warm rather than bright, so it pairs nicely with rust, sage green, or warm white walls. If you are not sure where to start, have a look at our full above fireplace collection for more inspiration and sizing ideas.

Choosing the Right Size and Finish for Your Mantelpiece

The width of your chimney breast is the key measurement to start with. As a general rule, the combined width of the three prints together should fill roughly two-thirds to three-quarters of the wall space above your fireplace — any narrower and the set can look a little lost, any wider and it may feel crowded. I always recommend measuring the wall and then checking the individual print sizes before you order, so you can picture exactly how they will sit.

For finish, I would lean towards Museum quality paper if you want the richest, most gallery-like result — the colours are particularly deep and the blacks are really crisp, which suits the black linework and detailing in these illustrations beautifully. Luster paper gives a slightly softer, satin-like finish that works just as well in a warm, relaxed living space. Both are excellent choices; it simply comes down to the mood you want to create. If you prefer the look of canvas, the wrapped canvas option gives the set a lovely tactile quality and removes any concern about glare from the fireplace light below.

Scroll down to see how each size looks above a fireplace before you decide — there is a size-guide image below showing every available size in that setting, which makes it so much easier to choose with
