Black Framed Wall Art French Country Botanical Floral Prints | Set of 3

Give your dining room a real sense of character with this black framed wall art set — three bold botanical prints that pair crisp white floral illustrations against deep charcoal-black backgrounds, finished with clean white border bands at the top and bottom of each piece. It's the kind of artwork that looks like it belongs in a French farmhouse but works just as beautifully in a modern British home. I absolutely love how the contrast between the inky black and the delicate white blooms makes each stem and petal pop without any fuss at all.

Each of the three prints features a different botanical subject: the first shows a cluster of layered, open-petalled blooms with broad leaves and a smaller bud; the second is a single large five-petalled flower with a detailed centre and paired leaves — very elegant in its simplicity; and the third is a branching spray of small cherry-blossom-style flowers with buds and foliage. Together they create a cohesive triptych that feels both rustic and refined, with a classic black and white palette that suits almost any colour scheme.

How to Style Black Framed Wall Art in a French Country Dining Room

I'd hang all three prints in a neat horizontal row at eye level above a sideboard or along the main dining room wall — keep the gaps between each one even, roughly 5–8 cm, and they'll look considered and intentional rather than randomly placed. Because the palette is purely black and white with no other colour to worry about, these prints are wonderfully versatile: they sit brilliantly against warm white, soft grey, sage green, or even a deep charcoal feature wall. If you want that proper French Country feel, pair them with natural linen, aged wood furniture, or a wicker pendant light and you're there.

They also work beautifully stacked vertically in a narrower alcove or hallway if your dining room is more of a galley shape — one above the other with matching spacing. Choosing the Right Size and Finish for Your Space

Before you decide on a size, think about the wall you have in mind and what's already on it. For a standard dining room wall above a sideboard or console table, I'd usually suggest going a size larger than you think — art often looks smaller once it's up on the wall than it does on screen. A set of three prints tends to work best when the individual pieces are at least A3 size or bigger, so the botanical details really sing rather than getting lost at a distance.

On finish: if you want rich, deep blacks with a gentle sheen that catches the light softly, go for Luster art paper — it's my personal favourite for high-contrast black and white artwork like this. If you're after the most archival, gallery-quality result, Museum paper gives you a beautiful smooth matte finish with outstanding depth. Both are printed with the same fade-resistant inks, so either will look stunning for years to come. And if you love the idea of a frameless, contemporary look, the wrapped canvas option is a great choice — the image wraps cleanly around the edges for a modern, minimal feel that suits a French Country dining room just as well as a more traditional one. Choose from white, black, or oak frames, each handmade here in the UK.

The front is fitted with a perspex panel — it has all the clarity of glass, but it's far lighter, so it won't strain your walls or risk damage, and because it's virtually unbreakable it's a much safer choice in homes with children or pets.

Behind that sits a painted MDF frame with a sturdy MDF backboard.

Your frame comes ready to hang with fixings included — smaller sizes also include a strut, so you can stand them freestanding or hang them in portrait or landscape.

Choose a framed option and your prints arrive fully assembled and ready to hang straight from the box.

Our wrapped canvas prints:

• Prefer a clean, frameless look? Our wrapped canvas is printed on 260 gsm polyester canvas and is naturally moisture-resistant, which makes it a lovely choice for bathrooms, kitchens, and covered outdoor spaces where paper prints wouldn't last.

Paper Choices

Paper prints come on your choice of two premium papers:

• Satin Photo Paper (280 gsm) for a vivid finish with a soft sheen
• Matte Museum-Quality Art Paper (290 gsm) for a fine-art, gallery-worthy look with no glare.

All prints use fade-resistant pigment inks, so your colours stay rich and true for years. Paper prints are best kept indoors.

Sizes

Your wall art is available in a range of sizes — simply choose yours from the size options on the product page.

If you're unsure which size suits your wall, our size guide shows each option to scale.

Mounts

On the A2 and 20 × 30 in framed sizes, you can add white or black mounts as an add on for a more polished, gallery-style finish — just select them under "Add mounts to your new wall art" on the product page.

Please note:

• The frame size refers to the print size that fits perfectly inside — not the overall outer dimensions of the frame.
