Hang this set of large japanese wall art in your hallway and you will feel the difference the moment you walk through the door. Three ink-wash prints flow together across a soft white ground, carrying sweeping bands of deep black and smoky mauve through a misty, atmospheric landscape — bonsai pines silhouetted above the fog, a wooden staircase rising through the centre print, and a tiny lone fisherman drifting quietly across the third. It is the kind of art that stops you for a second and makes you breathe out.
I love how the palette keeps things calm without being dull. The near-black ink bleeds organically into lighter mauve-grey clouds and crisp white space — very much in the wabi-sabi spirit of finding beauty in stillness and imperfection. Whether your hallway is narrow or wide, bright or shadowy, these prints bring that clean, zen, Japandi feeling that is absolutely everywhere in home decor right now — and for good reason.
I always say the hallway sets the tone for your whole home, and this trio does that beautifully. Hang all three prints in a horizontal row at roughly eye level — aim for an equal gap between each one, somewhere between 5 and 8 cm looks really neat. Because the prints read as one continuous landscape when placed side by side, keeping the spacing tight lets the scene flow naturally from left to right. If your hallway is long and narrow, a larger size can make it feel wider and more considered rather than cramped.
The black, white and mauve palette is wonderfully flexible. It sits happily against white, warm grey or even a dark-painted wall — I particularly love the idea of hanging these against deep charcoal or slate for a really moody, zen feel. Add a slim console table underneath with a low ceramic vase or a couple of smooth stones and you have got a Japandi-inspired entrance that feels genuinely curated. Before you pick a size, take a quick measurement of the wall space you have in mind — the width of the set matters as much as the height of each print. As a rough guide, I like the total width of a triptych to fill roughly two-thirds of the wall it sits on; too small and it can look a bit lost, too large and it crowds the space. Most hallways suit a medium to large size beautifully, so do not be afraid to go bigger than you think — these misty landscapes really do reward a generous print size.
For finish, if you want the deepest blacks and the crispest contrast in that ink-wash artwork, Museum quality paper is hard to beat — it holds fine detail brilliantly. Luster paper gives a lovely gentle sheen and is a brilliant everyday choice. If you prefer a more tactile, gallery feel, the wrapped canvas option is stunning and means no glass to worry about in a busy hallway. Scroll down to see how each size looks in a hallway before you decide — there is a size-guide image below showing every option in that exact setting.
Choose from white, black, or oak frames, each handmade here in the UK.
The front is fitted with a perspex panel — it has all the clarity of glass, but it's far lighter, so it won't strain your walls or risk damage, and because it's virtually unbreakable it's a much safer choice in homes with children or pets.
Behind that sits a painted MDF frame with a sturdy MDF backboard.
Your frame comes ready to hang with fixings included — smaller sizes also include a strut, so you can stand them freestanding or hang them in portrait or landscape.
Choose a framed option and your prints arrive fully assembled and ready to hang straight from the box.

The size options shown in the product variants refer to the height and width of each individual unframed print in the set. When ordering a set of 3 prints, keep in mind that the total wall space used will be larger once the frames are added and the prints are spaced out.
To calculate the total width on your wall: add a few centimetres for each frame mould (depending on the frame thickness), multiply the width by 3 (for each print), and leave about 5 cm between each frame for spacing.
All prints are available unframed or framed, depending on the option you select before checkout. If you don't choose a frame, you'll receive high-quality unframed prints ready to mount in your frame.
We also offer our artworks as wrapped canvas prints, which come ready to hang with no framing required. These are a great choice for areas where humidity might be a concern, like bathrooms or kitchens, as they're more resistant to moisture than paper prints.
We use premium 260 gsm satin photo paper that offers a subtle sheen and smooth finish, giving your artwork vibrant colour and crisp detail. This paper is acid-free and built to last, making it ideal for stylish, everyday display.
All our prints are produced using high-resolution digital printing with pigment inks. This method ensures rich, vibrant colours and long-lasting quality, making each piece fade-resistant and beautifully detailed, perfect for showcasing fine art at home.
We do our best to ensure that the colours you see on screen match the prints. However, slight variations can occur due to different monitor settings and lighting conditions in your home.
We recommend using picture hooks, command strips, or wall-safe adhesive hooks, depending on your wall type. When hanging a set, leave approximately 5 cm between each frame to create a balanced, gallery-style arrangement.
