Bring a sense of calm and quiet beauty into your home with this large painting for living room set — three Japanese ink-style art prints, each built around a bold, brushstroke enso circle in deep black on a clean white ground. Two of the prints feature a windswept bonsai or cherry blossom tree with delicate red-toned foliage sitting inside the circle, while the central print shows a misty waterfall landscape with pine trees cascading below the open circle — all rendered in that beautiful, gestural sumi-e ink style. The tiny touches of deep red against all that black and white are quietly stunning.
I love this set for anyone who wants their living room to feel genuinely peaceful without it looking bare or cold. The palette is minimal — black, white, and those soft red accents — but there is so much life and movement in the brushwork. It is the kind of art that draws you in the more you look at it, and it works brilliantly with the wabi-sabi and Japandi decorating trends that are everywhere right now.
Hang all three prints in a horizontal row above your sofa or a low sideboard, with an even gap between each one — I would aim for about 5 to 8 cm between them so they read as a connected set but each piece still has room to breathe. Because the palette is almost entirely black and white with just those soft red details, these prints sit beautifully against warm white, pale grey, off-white, or even a muted sage or clay-toned wall. They will not fight with your existing colours — they simply anchor the room and make everything feel more considered.
If you are styling a Japandi or wabi-sabi living room, pair these with natural wood furniture, linen cushions, and a few simple ceramic pieces. They also work well in a calming bedroom or a quiet reading corner if your living room is already full. For more Japandi and oriental-inspired art ideas, have a browse through our Japanese wall art collection — there are some lovely companion pieces that would sit well alongside these.
The beauty of a set of three prints is that they fill a wide wall without needing one enormous single piece — and you get that lovely gallery-wall feel while keeping everything neat and cohesive. I would suggest measuring the width of your sofa or the piece of furniture you are hanging them above, and aiming for the combined width of all three prints to be roughly two-thirds of that measurement. That ratio tends to look the most balanced in a living room.
Because the artwork itself is so graphic — bold black circles and fine ink detail — both Luster and Museum quality paper look fantastic. Luster gives a gentle sheen that makes the black ink pop, while Museum quality has a softer, matte feel that really suits the meditative, wabi-sabi spirit of the design. If your room gets a lot of natural light, Museum quality can be a lovely choice as it reduces any glare. And if you want the whole thing done and dusted in one go, the framed option means you just take it out of the box and hang it — genuinely very easy. Choose from white, black, or oak frames, each handmade here in the UK.
The front is fitted with a perspex panel — it has all the clarity of glass, but it's far lighter, so it won't strain your walls or risk damage, and because it's virtually unbreakable it's a much safer choice in homes with children or pets.
Behind that sits a painted MDF frame with a sturdy MDF backboard.
Your frame comes ready to hang with fixings included — smaller sizes also include a strut, so you can stand them freestanding or hang them in portrait or landscape.
Choose a framed option and your prints arrive fully assembled and ready to hang straight from the box.

The size options shown in the product variants refer to the height and width of each individual unframed print in the set. When ordering a set of 3 prints, keep in mind that the total wall space used will be larger once the frames are added and the prints are spaced out.
To calculate the total width on your wall: add a few centimetres for each frame mould (depending on the frame thickness), multiply the width by 3 (for each print), and leave about 5 cm between each frame for spacing.
All prints are available unframed or framed, depending on the option you select before checkout. If you don't choose a frame, you'll receive high-quality unframed prints ready to mount in your frame.
We also offer our artworks as wrapped canvas prints, which come ready to hang with no framing required. These are a great choice for areas where humidity might be a concern, like bathrooms or kitchens, as they're more resistant to moisture than paper prints.
We use premium 260 gsm satin photo paper that offers a subtle sheen and smooth finish, giving your artwork vibrant colour and crisp detail. This paper is acid-free and built to last, making it ideal for stylish, everyday display.
All our prints are produced using high-resolution digital printing with pigment inks. This method ensures rich, vibrant colours and long-lasting quality, making each piece fade-resistant and beautifully detailed, perfect for showcasing fine art at home.
We do our best to ensure that the colours you see on screen match the prints. However, slight variations can occur due to different monitor settings and lighting conditions in your home.
We recommend using picture hooks, command strips, or wall-safe adhesive hooks, depending on your wall type. When hanging a set, leave approximately 5 cm between each frame to create a balanced, gallery-style arrangement.
