Hang this wall painting landscape set in your dining room and watch the whole space settle into something quietly dramatic. Three art prints work together to tell one story — a vast, dark sky pressing down on still water, pine tree silhouettes cut sharp against the black, and a luminous pale moon rising on the right, its reflection stretching across the rippled, patterned shore in soft charcoal and warm off-white tones. It's bold without being aggressive, and calm without being boring — exactly the kind of art that makes a room feel considered.
What I really love about this set is the detail in the water. The surface is rendered with layered linework and organic swirling patterns — almost like a woodblock print — giving it real texture and depth. The palette is tight: deep charcoal, true black, and a quiet white-to-grey that keeps everything cohesive. If you're drawn to Japanese-inspired or Japandi decor, this one is going to feel right at home.
I'd hang all three prints in a horizontal row at eye level, evenly spaced, so the scene reads almost like a panorama across your wall — the pine trees anchoring each side and the moon drawing your eye to the right. Above a sideboard or a long dining table works brilliantly; the dark palette grounds the space without making it feel heavy. Because the tones are charcoal, black and white, they sit beautifully against warm white walls, cool grey plaster, or even a deep-toned feature wall — the contrast just changes the mood slightly, and both work. If you'd like to browse more Japandi-inspired prints that would complement this set, have a look at our Japandi wall art collection for pieces that tie a whole room together.
For a more layered look, pair this set with natural materials on your dining table — dark wood, linen, stone or ceramic. The organic linework in the water pattern picks up those textures really nicely, and the restrained colour palette means the prints won't clash with anything else you've already got going on in the room.
Before you decide on a size, it's worth standing back and measuring the wall space you have in mind — especially in a dining room where the art often has to hold its own against a table and chairs below it. As a rough guide, the total width of all three prints together should sit comfortably within the width of your dining table or sideboard beneath them; a little narrower looks neat, a little wider feels expansive. Both are lovely — it just depends on the look you're going for.
In terms of quality, if your dining room gets a good amount of natural light I'd lean towards Museum quality paper for the crispest blacks and the sharpest detail in those fine linework patterns. Luster paper gives a gentle sheen that reads beautifully in softer or evening lighting, which suits the moonrise subject particularly well. Either way, the charcoal-to-black tones stay rich and the pale moon holds its quiet glow. Scroll down to see how each size looks in a dining room before you decide — there's a size-guide image below showing every option in the space so you can get a real feel for scale.
Choose from white, black, or oak frames, each handmade here in the UK.
The front is fitted with a perspex panel — it has all the clarity of glass, but it's far lighter, so it won't strain your walls or risk damage, and because it's virtually unbreakable it's a much safer choice in homes with children or pets.
Behind that sits a painted MDF frame with a sturdy MDF backboard.
Your frame comes ready to hang with fixings included — smaller sizes also include a strut, so you can stand them freestanding or hang them in portrait or landscape.
Choose a framed option and your prints arrive fully assembled and ready to hang straight from the box.

The size options shown in the product variants refer to the height and width of each individual unframed print in the set. When ordering a set of 3 prints, keep in mind that the total wall space used will be larger once the frames are added and the prints are spaced out.
To calculate the total width on your wall: add a few centimetres for each frame mould (depending on the frame thickness), multiply the width by 3 (for each print), and leave about 5 cm between each frame for spacing.
All prints are available unframed or framed, depending on the option you select before checkout. If you don't choose a frame, you'll receive high-quality unframed prints ready to mount in your frame.
We also offer our artworks as wrapped canvas prints, which come ready to hang with no framing required. These are a great choice for areas where humidity might be a concern, like bathrooms or kitchens, as they're more resistant to moisture than paper prints.
We use premium 260 gsm satin photo paper that offers a subtle sheen and smooth finish, giving your artwork vibrant colour and crisp detail. This paper is acid-free and built to last, making it ideal for stylish, everyday display.
All our prints are produced using high-resolution digital printing with pigment inks. This method ensures rich, vibrant colours and long-lasting quality, making each piece fade-resistant and beautifully detailed, perfect for showcasing fine art at home.
We do our best to ensure that the colours you see on screen match the prints. However, slight variations can occur due to different monitor settings and lighting conditions in your home.
We recommend using picture hooks, command strips, or wall-safe adhesive hooks, depending on your wall type. When hanging a set, leave approximately 5 cm between each frame to create a balanced, gallery-style arrangement.
